Dark roasts are bold, smoky, and bitter with low acidity, best for espresso, Moka pots, and strong flat whites. If unsure, a medium roast espresso blend is the most versatile option.
Use fine for espresso machines, fine-medium for Moka pots, whole bean for bean-to-cup machines (which grind automatically), coarse for cafetière/French press, medium for filter machines, medium-fine for Aeropress, and extra coarse for cold brew.
